Here are possible causes of the issue.
a) Android Background Activity Needs to be Enabled.
Make sure “Restrict background activity” is turned O FF.

When data saver mode is on and Wi-Fi isn't available, Google Play may be affected. You can choose to let Google Play continue getting background data via cellular data in data saver mode.

Open your device's Settings app .

Tap Data usage ->Data saver.

If data saver is off, you don't have to do anything. If data saver is on, continue to step 4.

Tap Unrestricted data access.

Scroll down and tap the Driver App.

Next to that app or service, tap the On/Off switch to turn it on.

Open your device's Settings app .

Tap Data usage ->Cellular data usage.

Make sure you're viewing the network for which you want to view or restrict app data usage.

Scroll down and tap the Driver App.

c) Android GPS permission needs to be enabled.
